Interior Styling Trends

Mirroring the change of weather outside from light flowers, green trees and blue skies to rich leaves and moody skies - the way we rethink the interior styling of our home is much the same. From summer's light linens to autumn's earthy tones we see the rise of red, yellow, blues and burnt orange injected into the home's decor. Making autumn an exciting time of year to rethink the interior styling of your home and create a space that is inviting during the cooler months.

To get some ideas on how you can style your home during the autumn months we have listed what’s trending this season:

  • Velvet furnishings continue to be a popular choice this autumn, adding sophistication and rich texture to a space. Whether that be by using velvet cushions on the couch / bed or having a velvet chair in the living room as a feature - velvet can elevate the ambiance of the room during the cooler months.

  • Chunky knit  throws and woollen rugs to create a sense of depth and warmth to the room, making it instantly inviting and cosy.

  • Brass and copper metallic accents are often seen across decorative items such as vases or ornaments during the cooler months. These can be placed around the home to bring elegance and autumn depth to the space.

A change in season invites the opportunity to swap out interior styling items within the home and for you to experiment with your styling choices.
